Refund Policy
1. Overview
PluginsKart products (WordPress Plugins and Magento Extensions, including license keys and downloadable files) are digital goods delivered instantly upon purchase. Because digital goods cannot be “returned” in a physical sense, refunds are limited, evaluated case-by-case, and governed by the terms below. This policy is designed to be fair to genuine buyers while protecting against misuse of digital delivery.
2. Refund Eligibility
You may request a refund within 7 days of your original purchase date if any of the following apply:
- The plugin/extension is materially defective (does not perform its core, advertised functionality) and our support team is unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time after you report it and cooperate with troubleshooting;
- You were charged in error, charged the wrong amount, or charged more than once for the same order;
- The product delivered is materially different from what was described on its product page at the time of purchase; or
- You did not receive the download/license key due to a technical failure on our end, and we are unable to resolve it promptly.
3. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will generally not be issued where:
- The request is made more than 7 days after the purchase date;
- You simply changed your mind, no longer need the product, or found a free/cheaper alternative after purchase;
- The product has already been activated on a live/production site, used extensively, or the license key has already been redeemed — unless a genuine, unresolved defect is confirmed by our support team;
- A support/bug report was opened but you did not provide the information requested (e.g. site access, error logs, screenshots) needed to diagnose and resolve the issue;
- The issue arises from incompatibility with third-party themes, plugins, custom code, or server configuration that was not disclosed as a requirement at the time of purchase, and is outside our product’s stated compatibility;
- You misunderstood the product’s functionality where it was clearly and accurately described on the product page, demo, or documentation;
- The product was purchased on sale, as part of a bundle, redeemed via a coupon marked non-refundable, or explicitly marked “no refund” on the product page;
- Custom development, installation, configuration, or one-on-one support services have already been performed;
- The license key or product files have been shared, redistributed, or used in violation of our Terms and Conditions; or
- The request appears to be part of a pattern of repeated purchase-and-refund activity indicating abuse of this policy (we reserve the right to decline refunds and/or restrict future purchases in such cases).
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email [email protected] with the subject line “Refund Request – [Order ID].”
- Include your Order ID, the product name, your purchase date, and a clear description of the issue.
- If your request relates to a technical defect, please cooperate with our support team’s troubleshooting requests (e.g. providing error logs, screenshots, staging-site access) so we can attempt a fix first, most issues are resolved without a refund being necessary.
We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and resolve them within 7 business days of receiving all necessary information.
